Located on the third floor of the main education building, the Finance Office at MGGOI handles and maintains all financial accounts of MGGOI and its constituent institutions. These include:
- Processing payments for infrastructure projects
- Supplies of capital and consumable items for MGGOI
- Investments of funds, disbursal of funds to constituent colleges
- Compliance with taxation and other statutory requirements
- Preparation of budgets and financial statements of MGGOI.
With 11 employees, the Department is also responsible for framing and implementing financial policies and rules, the annual MGGOI budget, tax related issues and consolidation of accounts.
