M Pharm Pharmacology
Program Description
This two-year program is designed to provide advanced training in various aspects of pharmacology, molecular biology, pharmaco-therapeutics, pre clinical and clinical drug development. Fine experiments have been structured in the above mentioned areas, which equip the student with skills for research. They are a much sought after tribe in academia and industry.
Focus
The program imparts training in areas such as analytical
techniques, advanced pharmacology, pharmacological and toxicological screening, Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, Principles of Drug Discovery, Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance, which facilitates the students to build their theoretical and practical knowledge. The course also focuses on improving the core competence of students in tissue based experiments, animal handling, in vivo and in vitro pharmacological experimentation, etc. Students undergo internships during second year either at reputed pharmaceutical companies or in college.

Eligibility
Pass in B Pharm from a university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent.
Candidate should have obtained registration with the state pharmacy
council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission.
Mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the university
where the candidate had passed the B Pharm qualifying dgree.
