Program Description
D. Pharm is designed to meet the requirements of community and hospital pharmacy.
Focus
This program is focused on fundamental aspects of pharmacy profession includ­ing pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy and phar­macology.
The program provides knowledge on Health Education and Community Pharmacy, Drug Store and Business Management, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy etc.
Career Prospects
The D. Pharm holders will have opportunity to work in community and hospital pharmacy units where dispensing medicines is the main job role.
D. Pharm holders can also pursue higher learning in pharmacy through Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) Lateral entry.
Recently in 2020, the D. Pharm program came into limelight, when there was a great demand in the Indian Army.

Eligibility
Pass 10+2 Science or equivalent from any board with minimum of 45% marks.
